Disappointing Experience
I had a very disappointing experience with Aircoach due to a service failure that left me stranded. I had booked a ticket in advance for a journey, but when I arrived at Dublin Airport, the bus did not operate as expected, leaving me with no option but to take a taxi to Belfast Airport to make my flight.
An Aircoach employee at Dublin Airport assured me that my taxi fare would be refunded and even helped me find a driver. However, after contacting customer service, they refused to reimburse the cost, despite the clear promise made by their staff. If I had known this in advance, I would have looked for more affordable alternatives.
While they refunded my bus ticket, I find it unacceptable that they would not cover the additional expense caused by their failure to provide the service I paid for. The lack of accountability and inconsistency in their communication is frustrating.
I will now be filing complaints with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and the National Transport Authority (NTA) to escalate this issue. I believe passengers deserve better transparency and accountability from Aircoach.
I would advise future passengers to be cautious and not rely on verbal assurances from staff, as the company may not honor them.
