In general it's a good service - but staff (at Dublin airport) knowledge of Leap card use needs to be improved.
Also, there is an ongoing issue (18 months+) relating to acceptance of AIB Bank issued debit/credit cards. Emails to the company in recent month not answered - and their contact form doesn't cover this problem.
