On June 4th, I booked 4 tickets for the 6:12 am AirCoach service from O’Connell Street (Dublin) to the airport. To my shock, I received an email at 4:06 am on the same day stating that the bus had been cancelled without any explanation. The only options given were to purchase new tickets for a different time (which was impossible, as we had a flight to catch) or request a refund.
Fortunately, I managed to find a last-minute taxi, avoiding a missed flight—but this came with unexpected costs and unnecessary stress. Worst of all, despite emailing AirCoach to request a refund for the cancelled tickets, I have received no reply, nor has my money been returned.
This was my first time using AirCoach, and it has been an awful experience. I cannot recommend a service that: cancels routes with no prior warning (a 4 am email is unacceptable!), offers no real solutions to stranded passengers, and ignores refund requests without acknowledgment.
