Please find below is my review on the latest BAS lodgement for January to March 2024 Quarter:
1. Submitted my BAS for January to March 2024 Quarter to Airtax on 17 May 2024 with return email acknowledging that the lodgement will be attended within 3 business day.
2. However, my BAS for January to March 2024 Quarter was not lodged before the 28 May 2024 deadline set by ATO.
3. Tried to contact AIrtax via online live chat support to follow up on the status of lodgement but there is no response from Airtax despite the promise on the auto reply mentioned that "Thank you, a member of our team will be in touch within 24 hours!"
4. Also tried to email Airtax multiple times but nothing came back from Airtax.
5. Then suddenly, I received an email from Airtax saying that my BAS for January to March 2024 Quarter has been lodged on 11 June 2024, which is 14 days after ATO's deadline on 28 May 2024 and 25 days after my submission to Airtax on 17 June 2024.
6. Despite the multiple attempts to contact Airtax to find out the status of the lodgeent of BAS for January to March 2024 Quarter to AIrtax that went to deaf ears, I do not receive any single word of explanation from Airtax, let alone an apology.
7. With 14 days overdue situation caused by poor and inefficient service by Airtax, there is a chance that I may be subjected to penalty action from ATO which i would assume that Airtax should take over this responsibility and clearify to ATO so that my credit history and record with ATO will nto be adversely affected.
Kindly take serious and immediate action to rectify this problem. I will give Airtax another go in the BAS Submission for April to June 2024 Quarter. Should there be no improvement, I will have no chance but the switch to another Tax Agent in the subsequnet quarters.
