I honestly love airtax, it makes life so much easier. However there are some awesome accounting packages out there and airtax really should be able to integrate with them. And sadly this is not the case, accounting package options are limited and in the case of quickbooks self employed none of the account categories match up, and you actually have to export a.csv file and import it to airtax which is super fun on a mobile device. Accounting software like xero is not overly expensive and super configurable and quickbooks self employed is very limited but the full package is too much unless you have employees. So airtax needs to explore other options. It's really the only part of the system that seems to fall down somewhat and if this was to be fixed it would be unstoppable and in all honesty I would be happy to go the xero road as i have used it before and I could setup recipt bank the only thing xero doesn't do is tax. Everything else is great if you have a problem shoot them an email and they are right on it, and if Alex is a real person he should get a pay raise :)
