Is it just me, or has the contour of the A-Line orthotic footbed changed? Several years ago, when I received my first pairs, the contour seemed to be a prevalent, long, sloping, "speed-bump" type contour which stretched diagonally along the length of the orthotic and crossed the width of the shoe, from the heel to the ball of the foot. It felt very comfortable to wear, and I could feel my foot gently roll across this "speed bump" with every step.
Now, it seems that the gently rolling motion is no longer present, and it feels as though the orthotic footbed's contour has been altered. My foot no longer gently rolls across a contoured "speed bump." Rather, it seems now that my feet have a block-type motion and their motion jams where the orthotic jabs up into my anterior calcaneus area, and again in the medial arch area. Where there formerly was a gentle, supported, rolling motion, there is now a disjointed motion. Was the footbed contour changed, or have I changed?
