This is a little hard because a true determination is made over time. For me, I visited an office first which helped me understand all the issues of the orthotics and the use of the various wedges. If I hadn't visited, not sure how I would have known about the wedges and more important, how to use them properly, they can be almost as important as the orthotics. I bought two in the store and two since then and overall very happy but it has only been three weeks. Time will tell and hopefully it will tell that this was a great investment into my training and physically active lifestyle
