I took out travel insurance with Allianz but will not do so again. I have never claimed on travel insurance before but in South Africa was robbed, losing cash, a camera and other bits and pieces. Allianz refused to pay out, citing some small print that stated (in Spanish) that although robbery was covered, only if there was violence.
