“Only use them if you never plan to move house again! Sadly we moved since our last policy expired, and they insist they can’t update the address on my account. So even though we have an existing account with all of other info correct, we need to create a new email address which means applying for a new quote (because all of our quotes from comparison sites are linked to the email for my old account). It is such an unbelievably pointless waste of time & energy! Online customer service was no help. Tried calling & got a message saying they’re an online only company and referring me back to the unhelpful online chat people. I guess that’s why they cost so much less! Beyond frustrating!!”
“I took out travel insurance with Allianz but will not do so again. I have never claimed on travel insurance before but in South Africa was robbed, losing cash, a camera and other bits and pieces. Allianz refused to pay out, citing some small print that stated (in Spanish) that although robbery was covered, only if there was violence.”

I had to get back for work so got a flight back with another airline that same afternoon. Allianz Alliance wouldn't pay up for my alternative flight home....what is the point of Insurance I asked?? “They are issuing my refund which is nice and even though it took a while for them to reply I am still happy they eventually did. When I was sick they understood and took accountability as at first my refund/ claim was declined. I haven’t got my refund yet but I’m sure i will”
