VERY different experience from before. I used to order this bread back in the day when Allie would announce an upcoming drop, and you'd set a calendar reminder so you could be in the running to get a loaf. On at least 2 separate occasions I didn't complete the purchase quickly enough, and the bread in my cart sold out from under me. I was disappointed, yet determined to be successful with the subsequent drops. Despite all of this, it was worth it! Not so much anymore. The loaves are literally HALF the size they used to be, and they aren't packaged nearly as carefully-- it seems as though the loaves are sealed in plastic wrap before they've had a chance to cool from the oven, so they end up being excessively mushy. I'm guessing the operations have been outsourced? Unfortunately the essence of what made Allie's Banana Bread such a hit is no longer there.
