I ordered two jigsaw puzzles and a mat from Amazon. Very shortly after I submitted the order I cancelled one of the puzzles. Immediately Amazon charged my credit card with $9.02. I used their Chatbot to ask about this charge and was told it was a mistake and would be refunded within 24 to 48 hours. That did not happen even when I waited 4 days. I managed to talk to someone about this. I could barely understand this person because of a very strong accented speech. Perhaps customer service is being done outside of North America? I asked her to email me. She did and said the refund would take several days depending on my credit card company. Refund never did appear even 10 days later. I tried to call Amazon back but was not able to get anyone on the phone and kept being directed back to a Chatbot. I closed my Amazon account at this point, not because of the $9.02 but because of very poor customer service. They have the best selection of products and speedy delivery and fair prices. However I can’t tolerate such complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
