Amazon should be avoided this year. Two weeks till Christmas and most items cannot be delivered till well after Christmas. They knew a postal strike was coming and did nothing to facilitate delivery. Prime is useless. Cancel your prime memberships, too. These big companies have to be taught to respect their customers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am not one to leave bad reviews but my goodness I have had the worst experience with amazon customer service. If I went into full detail with everything, they have messed up on it would a full-blown novel. I have been dealing with them for 3 months!! I tried returning something, and got sent the wrong return shipping label 3 times in a row, to then be told they can't give me one and that I would have to sort out the return on my own. I then confirmed with about 5 or agents that If I return it on my own dime that I would be refunded the shipping cost. I was told yes by all agents. I then send in all the information I was told to and was told I would be refunded 3-5 business days. Almost 2 weeks go by with nothing. I call again to be told they can't refund me.. so I speak with a manager who said that was a mistake and they would process the refund right away. After confirming the refund amount of over $100 with multiple agent multiple times I then wait another 2 weeks to receive nothing and have to call again! I get told it is being processed and will be a few more day. I just got an email finally stating I would receive my refund..... the email stating I would be getting 3.99 back.... They owe me over $100 and sent me 3.99!?! I am beyond baffled and so incredibly mad.

I ordered on Oct 30 a Breville Espresso machine. I was to receive the next day. Advised that we needed to be home as a code is needed for this expense. ($1800.00). I waited all day and finally at 6PM I called and the automated c/s stated on its way. Finally around 8PM went online and saw that my order was delayed and the next Delivery was Dec 3rd. The problem was my family member was leaving on the 1St to go back to Winnipeg and with the postal strike this was my option to get it in time and send with relatives for a Xmas present. I canelled. Showed cancelled. I followed it back to the shipper and I went Dec 1st to Crate and Barrel purchased again and sent with relatives. I contacted c/s and got the runaround right away. Happened three times over the course of 5 days . Called my bank and they explained tht anything over $1000.00 a retail can not pay you back for 15 days. Only then can I have the amount reversed. I have been with Amazon for years and never have I been lied to and given the runaround as many times as Amazons customer service department have done. I and now all my family will not purchased from Amazon over $50 I know have to may $1800 twice this month.

I returned a vacuum (order #702-6793663-5420233) on November 23rd by UPS (Label provided by Amazon) UPS then lost it, so I initiated a investigation, the item was found and delivered on December 3rd, I was told to call back on December 7th and they would issue the refund. When I called on the 7th, I was told I would have to wait till the 24th. I don't like being mislead. This item was sent back exactly as I received it, and likely already resold. But you seem to think it's ok to hold my funds. Terrible

I am very disappointed with Amazon.ca. During the Canadian postal strike Amazon has cancelled all my orders stating “Because of the potential Canada Post service interruption, we are temporarily unable to deliver to PO Boxes, Pickup Points and areas that are only serviced by Canada Post and we had to cancel the order. You have not been charged.” I do NOT have a PO Box address and receive deliveries from Purolator and UPS. Not only have they cancelled all my orders there is no record I even placed the orders.

Amazon has really dropped the ball on their Prime guaranteed delivery. The sole reason I have a Prime membership is for the guaranteed early delivery. Forget it!!! Canceled it and I'm supporting local business from now on. However inconvenient it is.

Absolutely horrible, my paid orders are being deleted in my order history and so the product isn't being delivered and it's not being refunded either, I also was not refunded my correct amount for another product because I used a refund to partly pay for the $100 Purchase!!!! So the representative told me to contact the company and of course that did not help whatsoever. Very horrible and thieves they are so beware!!

I paid for two day shipping on order # ending in 3066. It was not delivered in the 2 days that I paid $24 extra for. You do not stay behind your promises but will gladly keep the money. I will never order from this company again.

I've had 2 separate orders delivered with empty boxes. Instead of helping me they told me to make a police report. For boxes that came empty.i spend 1000s every yr at amazon and I canceled my acct this am. Tired of immigrants who speak 0 English and now making stupid policies like this. I live in Edmonton..NO COP WILL MAKE A POLICE REPORT FOR BOXES THAT ARRIVED EMPTY..

Amazon Canada sucks, can’t find anyone to help me. My item was delivered to another city but they won’t reimburse me because item wasn’t returned. I didn’t receive it. Can’t find a chat agent anymore and no one seems to care. Must be time I cancel membership. They should change their name to Amachit because that’s what it is now. 💩

It's Amazon, so its super convenient to get stuff that nowhere else sells, especially in the Yukon. That being said, it's also Amazon, so you already know that Prime is a scam beyond the delivery (adverts on tv now), and that you are viewed as an annoying pest of a customer should you contact customer service. Speaking of... Customer service just loves to lie to the fact that you can almost guarantee a different outcome if you push to speak to a supervisor, who will almost immediately override whatever they are saying they can't do, refund/credit you accordingly, and then wish you good day. This can take 1 attempt, or can take 3-4 attempts. Point is, you shouldn't have to argue and fight for your consumer rights to be respected, and for them to adhere to their own policies which change internally on the daily it would seem. Ultimately, if you can get your product elsewhere, do so. This billion dollar company that treats its own workers and customers like the a piece of dog faeces on their shoe, needs to learn that profits don't rule above all else.

Why can Amazon not find my new address when Canada Post can? It is a new subdivision and deliveries are made to the older houses 2 streets down (less than 1 km away).

I think your nhl broadcast absolutely sucks compared to reputable broadcasters. Would be better off leaving hockey to the experts . The rest of your broadcasting is good I can even live with the commercial breaks

The last two orders to our home have been scheduled for 4am dropoff which we DID NOT request, and left outside our building and had to be resent because they were lost/stolen. we do not know why this 4am dropoff is being selected and we do not want any further complications.

Amazon's service has declined so much recently. They are very rude. The company as a whole is a scam. Returned something for a refund they're saying they can see it was picked up for the return but never made it to the warehouse and they wont refund me for it.

I use to love Amazon until recently. The customer service team are not helpful and can't tell me why I am having issues with Prime Vedeo. I spent all day on thephonw with them multiple phone calls and all I got was escalated to a manager to review my issue. After having to ask when somone would get back to me I was told perhaps within 24 hours. Back when you called customer service in the states they were awesome and could fix the issue. I'm paying for a service they can't seem to fix. Not happy with this at all. I use Amazon all the time and have serval channels on Prime but no one willing to really assist.

Canadians; If you are a Born Canadian do not expect to get a job in Canada with Amazon! They will literally ignore you until all spots are filled by immigrants even if you arrived long before any of them!. It’s blatantly obvious what’s going on… they must be going through the government funded program where your tax dollars are paying half their wages so don’t think your getting a deal with this company.

I subscribe for auto-deliveries with Amazon.ca and after some months I cancelled my subscription on July 16, 2024 and I received the the confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail, however Amazon still changing me every month. I got in touch with the support many times but they were unable to say what is going on and I don't have any solution so far.
