I had a very disappointing experience with Amazon customer service. I called to ask a simple question about an Apple Watch I had returned and whether ordering another would have the same issue. The representative was extremely rude—he interrupted me, refused to answer clearly, and then hung up on me. I felt completely disrespected. I’ve been a loyal Amazon customer, but after this, I’m seriously reconsidering my trust in the company. No customer should be treated like this.

They won't cancel a membership when they are asked very poor response!

Their service is becoming worst, hang up the call without even asking for three times. Each of the representatives information are different from each other. After returning the product they are not even giving back my money.

Very disappointed with Amazon lately the people there that don’t read the emails of what you want done in the customer service department and now they cancelled something and I have to wait 2 to 4 days to get my money back. They made the problem even worse, so I’m never gonna be. I’m not renewing my prime membership. I’m not gonna be doing anything with Amazon Prime Video at what it expires as well and I will be choosing competitors to buy from in the future I will not support a company that doesn’t read messages through customer service chat and then apologizes for a lousy five dollar credit. That doesn’t do it so this is the end of my relationship with Amazon.

Amazons service has got quite poor lately. Almost better off going straight to the manufactures sight and order items. Or go back to shopping local stores.

They are becoming the worst online shopping service I just don't understand why they would not maintain high professionalism and great service like it used to be it's so sad. I have been having lots of issues with late deliveries and undelivered items. My last package I ordered it to be delivered on the same day and it got delayed I called customer service they wouldn't refund me even though I told them I don't want the item anymore and it wasn't delivered to me at the first place. they said they won't refund until they get an update on the carrier . They literally held my money till they figure out their mess ! I am very disappointed on how their service has become and how they resolve matters they obviously do not care about their clients anymore . They hire support agents that do their job the worst way and don't care about Amazon's reputation. No one gives you a fair resolution or cares about your business they just think we have a stash of cash sitting next to us if they don't refund it's okay we'll go to the next order . Time means nothing ! No sense of urgency ! It's so messed up !

Amazon has an option to provide delivery instructions. In my case it is a mailroom of the building. And yet they are calling every time disturbing everyone around. Absolutely discusting. Amazon cannot teach their drivers to read instructions???

This is a report against an online scam operation falsely using the name “Amazon. Ca. Online” to deceive people and loot them through fake products and fraudulent practices. I, Lado, am one of the many victims of this scam, and I am speaking up so that others do not fall into the same trap.

I had a similar experience as anonymous below. After contacting Amazon about problems with gift cards I was redirected to the third party seller who sent me back to Amazon. Back and forth I went until I was told that my money was in the process of being refunded. After no money was refunded, I contacted customer support again. I was told there was nothing Amazon could do and referred me back to the gift card company AGAIN. Many hours over the course of a week were wasted on this. They have lost a Prime member, I will no longer be doing business with them.

I’m writing this to warn others about a terrible experience I had involving an Amazon gift card purchased from Shoppers Drug Mart. At Shoppers, Amazon gift cards are kept behind the counter, so I assumed they were secure. I bought one and loaded a significant amount onto it as a maternity leave gift for a co-worker. Unfortunately, when she tried to redeem the card, it showed a $0 balance. Someone had tampered with the card before I bought it — meaning the funds were stolen as soon as the card was activated. Thankfully, I kept the receipt and card details, so I contacted the Shoppers Drug Mart where I purchased it. They directed me to Amazon. That’s when things went from bad to worse. I have never felt so dismissed as a customer. I was passed around from one rep to another — no one seemed to want to take responsibility or help. I followed up via both email and phone. My emails were ignored unless I followed up multiple times. And when I did get a response, I was repeatedly asked to send the same photos of the card, even though I already had — multiple times. They kept telling me these issues are better resolved over the phone, but every call had me on hold for 30+ minutes. I asked four times to schedule a callback — no one ever acknowledged those requests. I also asked multiple times to speak with a supervisor and was completely ignored. After an entire month of chasing them, following up on unanswered emails, sitting on hold, and jumping through hoops, Amazon finally told me they couldn’t do anything. This is absolutely unacceptable. Amazon, your brand is on that gift card. You are responsible for the products you sell — not the customer. You wasted my time, treated me like I didn’t matter, and left me out hundreds of dollars. I’ve been a loyal Prime member for years, but after this, I’ll be cancelling my account. I’ll also be sharing my story with as many people as I can so they know what kind of “support” to expect. Amazon, do better. You’ve lost a customer for good.

Here's my question that customer service was stumped. Prier to becoming a Prime member, we never had a delivery issue. Now a Prime Member, WOW, many Manny delays, lost packages and on 3 orders they gave me multiple delivery days at which point it never showed. Customer service said, re order and try again. Can't say Prime is worth it

I bought two projector screens from Amazon, one of which was wobbly and insecure, so I requested a refund. I called Amazon to inquire about the return process. They instructed me to ship the screens to their return address and assured me they would refund the shipping cost. The boxes were quite large, resulting in extra-large shipment fees from every shipping company. I called Amazon again and explained that the shipping would cost considerably more than $100 per box. An agent confidently stated that I should pay the amount, and they would refund it. I did so and provided payment receipts totaling $276.24 for both boxes. Several weeks later, I only received a refund for the price of the items, not the shipping charges. I called Amazon again, and after a lengthy 30-minute conversation, they only agreed to refund $150. As a reasonable person, I suggested accepting a gift card as a resolution, but they refused to honor their initial promise. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was apparently not considered an important customer, as they simply hung up.

So here is a lesson, they won't allow me to write a bad review about a seller. They also can't reach the seller?! With all this technology and I can't get a missing piece.

Amazon has gotten so bad lately. First, they tell you when to expect your package, then they change the delivery date, tell you it's "delayed" and then to wait to see if you're going to get it. After you wait 4 days and it doesn't show up then you can talk to someone who "might" have a clue about where your package is. If they do manage to deliver it, you can be 100% sure they won't follow your delivery instructions. One driver even told me he never looked at the instructions. I've found my packages thrown over my fence in the back yard, left outside in the elements (when I've provided a place inside for it to be left) and they've even left it down the street at another house (when my street and house number are clearly and largely marked on the front of house.) I'm so done with this company. They don't have and loyalty incentive for me to stay. I'm going back to shopping local. If I could give half a star I would.
