Fellow Indians using Amazon for years may too have realized that its customer support has been rapidly down spiralling in India. Amazon India’s Customer support is becoming more and more agonizing. A company which claims to be Earth’s most customer centric company, now just places the customer in the centre and harasses and abuses them from all directions ! So much so for being Customer Centric now ! From Oct-22 they have disabled replacement/return option as well. You can click on it, go through the usual fill-in of boxes and tick-marks and after submit you shall realize that replacement/return no longer works. Now, it's just a corrupt company with no customer support. They just appreciate your patience & ask you to have some more indefinitely. For the last defective product they delivered, 8 picks were scheduled by Delhivery, 4 times they promised refund if the next pick up fails, talked to 12 of their executives, interacted with 17, twice filed complaints with National Consumer Helpline, and then in Consumer Commission. Amazon India brazenly violates Consumer Protection Act 2019 & Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules 2020 now. Note that 2020 rules make it mandatory for e-marketplace operators to provide for return and refunds.
