Amazon used to be my favorite app to order from, not just because of the products, but also because of the app design, delivery process, and customer service. However, it has been getting worse day by day. Delivery personnel now drop off your product with anyone in your society without informing or calling you, and sometimes they mark it as delivered without actually delivering the product.
When you call customer service, they offer countless excuses, such as “We are just a platform, the delivery team is separate,” or “It was done by mistake,” or “It happened automatically”—endless, nonsensical excuses. Now, they’ve even started threatening to escalate the conversation, though it’s unclear to whom.
After paying for a product, we expect a smooth transaction, but instead, we get delayed deliveries, poor communication, and rude customer service that gives threats. Amazon seems to have forgotten that it’s the customers who keep the app going.
