Terrible customer service, via web chat. No reply to complaints emails.
Childs swing was bought from a marketplace seller. It became defective and unsafe to use. Swing broke after 7 months of normal use during British summer. Amazon claimed it was outside the 6 month statutory returns period and suggested contacting the seller. No reply from seller. Went back and forth to Amazon 3 times, who claim its not their problem. Tried to explain swing is unsafe and unusable and under consumer act, 'not fit for purpose and not met expected safety standard for child's toy', so refund or replace should be given.
No help whatsoever, no reply to emails, rude and obstructive faceless web chat operators. I've held an Amazon account for over 20 years Nd spent thousands of pounds on there platform. Seems Amazon make enough profits that they don't need customer satisfaction.
