I've been a loyal Amazon customer for years and whenever I need something that I can't find within walking distance from my home it's the first place I look. Of course whenever one of my orders is delayed it's something I need urgently so I've made plenty of complaints but Amazon has always been courteous in extending my prime membership for another month for free. I've not always been a great fan of Amazon logistics as they've delivered items to neighbours in the past without leaving a card or leaving packages for other neighbours in front of my door, and when I drop these off those neighbours tell me they haven't received a card either and had already called Amazon to declare their delivery missing. If possible I now choose Local collect from the post office which is a 5 minute walk from where I live. This seems to be a lot more reliable if Amazon manages to dispatch the products on time. Unfortunately some items are just too big to collect from the post office.
