I joined Amazon Prime. However I received a code number from them shortly afterwards saying I had just changed my email address. I had NOT asked them to change anything. My account had been hijacked from someone in RU. Of course they would then not deal with me as I was not answering then new email address associated with the account. Had to cancel cards, accounts etc. Lost my Amazon Prime that I had Just paid £79 for now I have to get my bank to get my money back. When they send you these 'code' numbers there is no button you can select saying "Thats not me!! I did not request a change in email address" You either have to accept or ignore the email neither of which is a good option. Very bad security.
