I bought a professional Canon camera from the Amazon Warehouse section as second-hand but very good condition. When I got the item it wouldn’t even turn on, the battery was fully charged and all options had been exhausted.
I thought the return process would be as simple as any other order but no - the only option is a Hermes collection for sometime “in the next business days”. So basically all of us who work 40hrs a week are stuffed, and Amazon are asking me to pander to the courier’s vague, whenever-we-feel-like-it, schedule.
The livechat adviser seriously suggested I leave a £300 camera with a NEIGHBOUR to collect or even worse “in a safe place” (AKA out on the street) with a note attached!
Honestly you couldn’t make it up - take some bloody responsibility for your faulty product Amazon!!!!
