I ordered something as a gift on a Monday night. I needed the items by Thursday, so I paid £6.99 for next day delivery. I was aware that this wouldn't be processed until Tuesday, but that would have still been fine, as I would have got it next day Wednesday. I called American Soda on Wednesday to find out what had happened to my order. There was no answer so I left a message. No one called me back. When Thursday came and I still had not received my goods. I called American Soda again. I explained. My situation and was told that my order was still with them. I was extremely disappointed. I was given a half hearted apology and told that my order would be with me the next day and I would be refunded the difference in delivery costs. Therefore I would only be charged £3.99 delivery. This made me extremely angry. I felt that American Soda's customer service was appalling!!!!! Not only had they fudged my order but on top of that they still had the audacity to charge me delivery costs. I will not be using this company again. Shoddy!
