Sizing doesn't make sense, I used the size guide and measurements taken that day to purchase jeans for the first time. The pair I received was MUCH TOO BIG. I tried working with "size specialists" who couldn't help me find the right size and instead just kept referring me to the size guide. I ended up ordering two sizes down and it was still too big! Had to return both for store credit. I'm 6'3 and 180 lbs
