I was experiencing extreme hearing difficulties and visited Amplifon in Hanley, Stoke On Trent. I was introduced to Barry Perkin who provided an extensive hearing examination. His immediate decision was that my hearing was so impaired that I had only 70% hearing in one ear and 50% in the other. The aids that Barry recommended and suggested I tried for a couple of weeks had an amazing effect on my hearing quality. I was able to join in conversations that had previously been difficult to understand and watch television without the volume being excessively loud.
