My dad recently spent over £10,000 with Anglian to have all the windows in his house replaced. We expected a professional job, especially for that amount of money, but unfortunately, the experience has been anything but satisfactory.
Shockingly, the installers reused parts from the old windows on the brand-new ones – something you'd never expect when you're paying for a full replacement. When my dad raised the issue, Anglian's response was that he *should have asked* at the beginning before signing the contract if you wanted new everything, and if he wanted it corrected, he’d have to pay even more.
As my dad rightly said, “I wouldn’t buy a new car and expect old tyres.” This kind of corner-cutting and refusal to take responsibility is completely unacceptable.
Despite numerous emails and letters explaining the issue, the company has refused to resolve it unless more money is paid. It's disgraceful customer service, especially after taking £10,000 from a customer.
We feel let down, frustrated, and disgusted with how Anglian has handled this. Think twice before using them – expensive doesn’t always mean quality!
