“We bought windows and a composite door in June, we had a chip in the frame of the window and the door is leaking all over the laminate flooring we had contacted them and been given dates 3 times but nobody turned up, it is now December and they are still not fixed, please don’t make the mistake we did and off them go to a local company that has better after care service.”
“Awful experience bought secondary glazing delivery took nearly 4 months instead of 2 as been advised by salesman. installation was not as perfect as one expected from large company as Anglia ,some gaps still exist between the glass and frames ,in spite of three visits one by the manager who promised he will rectified the problem himself and admitted the previous engineer did nothing .The window are very stiff and difficult to lift up and down by my wife not as promised by the salesman would very smooth and can be lifted by 2 fingers ,the salesman designed a fixed window above the balcony door and not movable which should be from side to side to match the beneath balcony door as suggested by one of the engineer who visited us ,which made difficult to clean the Sasha windows without taking the whole secondary glazing window out ,and the manager blamed the salesman for wrong design.now I have been trying to get the manger answering our call but unfortunately no reply . I wouldn't recommend anglia because of bad design, bad fitting and awful after sales service”
“Unreliable, dreadful company
We initially had issues with delivery and installation, which I had already raised in a previous review. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. The aftercare service has been extremely disappointing. Communication has been poor, and when problems arose after installation, the company showed little willingness or ability to resolve them properly.
As a customer, I expected support after spending this much money, but instead I was left chasing responses and dealing with delays. The lack of accountability is frustrating and unprofessional.
I want to warn others to be cautious. This Company isn't reliable the product itself might seem fine in pictures but not in real life. And if you ever ever need aftercare service, don’t expect any help . This experience has been stressful and I would not recommend this company.
I wish, I had the option of no star at all. They don't deserve it”

Had a quote and gave a deposit.
Contract was not was agreed so I cancelled within 24 hours.
Promised a refund. Have now been chasing for six weeks by phone and email and still no refund.
Call Centres say it's been actioned and do not know when I will be paid. No response to emails.
Would not recommend.”
“Salesman (after a 5 hour visit!) promised me exactly what I wanted. Signed the contract and paid my deposit of nearly £2k. Surveyor called a month later and told me the company don't provide what the salesman had specified but they won't refund my deposit as they say the 7-day cooling off period is from the time the salesman calls and this had already past. Tried to explain to the company by phone, email and letter that this is their breach of contract but they're not interested. I'm still fighting. Dishonest company. If I could have given no stars, I would have. I would never ever recommend this company.”
“The fitter damaged the existing sash window mechanism when installing secondary glazing. We are unable to close the window. It is the weekend and there is no customer service available until Monday, so our house is unsecured. You pay top price for a rubbish job.
The customer service email I sent was returned as Undeliverable!”
“Hopeless. Thought I was dealing with a good company. I got a quote, it came in £400 more than one I had from a firm that has done work for me and I know are brilliant. I told Anglia I was not going to have them do the work. Since then I have been pestered by them via email, phone calls and text messages, saying they can reduce the cost of the work. If they can do this now, why did they not give me an honest quote first time around. I Will never use or recommend them to anyone.”
“Was not happy with the end result of a new fitted door, if you go ahead with any installation never have it done on a Friday as there is absolutely nobody around after 5pm Friday until Monday, our door could not close fully as a result we could not leave the house unattended, absolutely no weekend customer service available, would not use again, will upgrade with local installer, poor customer service, poor management uptake, poor communication, once order placed, once final Bacs done, absolutely nothing, yes we had the door fitted correctly three days later, but that's three days too late...”
“We’ve had an awful experience with Anglian. They made a major error in ordering the wrong windows, which left us unable to use one of our rooms weeks. The inconvenience this caused was significant, yet all we received in response was a generic apology.
Their customer service has been consistently poor—difficult to reach, unhelpful when contacted, and lacking any real accountability. For the price you pay, the service and quality are incredibly disappointing. In my opinion, you’d be better off going with a cheaper provider—you’d likely receive the same level of service, if not better.
Very poor experience overall. I would not recommend Anglian to anyone.”
“Avoid at all cost!!! A salesman failed to come to my door in first visit and after chasing he finally turned up took measurements of my windows and doors but never called, emailed or leave me with a quote even though I chased several times. Honestly worst company to deal with, they would take your money and not turn up. Don’t take the risk!!”
“I organised someone to come and give me a quote for a front door. I wasn't really asked what I wanted or shown options, the sales person said they understood my "vibe" and started building the door design for me (I assume using the most expensive options) the quote was very high and I was told it could be halved if I agreed to the quote there and then, which I wasn't prepared to do. The sales person even had their boss on the phone teying to persuade me to say yes there and then. The whole ordeal made me uncomfortable and wasted over an hour of my time. I'd avoid if I were you.”
“Scaffolding turned up ,fitters turned up on time - no equipment for them no contact with company no liaison - head office has no idea- so fitters went home
Didnt turn up the next day- we were not informed by company - apparantly they had been sent to another job Again no complete supply of materials on the 3rd and 4th days - no leaf guards for gutters. Scaffolders held up because of this
4th day fitters went home as towers had not been ordered and only arrived after they had gone
The fitters and scaffolders were patient and very polite
The service and communication and arrangement of logistics is almost non existent and done on the hoof No customer service liasion They expect us to project manage

“My dad recently spent over £10,000 with Anglian to have all the windows in his house replaced. We expected a professional job, especially for that amount of money, but unfortunately, the experience has been anything but satisfactory.
Shockingly, the installers reused parts from the old windows on the brand-new ones – something you'd never expect when you're paying for a full replacement. When my dad raised the issue, Anglian's response was that he *should have asked* at the beginning before signing the contract if you wanted new everything, and if he wanted it corrected, he’d have to pay even more.
As my dad rightly said, “I wouldn’t buy a new car and expect old tyres.” This kind of corner-cutting and refusal to take responsibility is completely unacceptable.
Despite numerous emails and letters explaining the issue, the company has refused to resolve it unless more money is paid. It's disgraceful customer service, especially after taking £10,000 from a customer.
We feel let down, frustrated, and disgusted with how Anglian has handled this. Think twice before using them – expensive doesn’t always mean quality!”
“Extremely Disappointed – Unreliable and Unprofessional Service
I am extremely disappointed with Anglian Windows. I had an installation scheduled for today (a door and a window), which I had been waiting for over two months. In order to be available, I had to take an unpaid day off work — something that is not easy to do.
To my frustration, I received a call this morning from their team leader saying that the installation had been cancelled and they would not be coming today after all. No proper explanation, no prior notice — just a last-minute cancellation after such a long wait.
This is completely unacceptable. Their lack of reliability and professionalism has caused me both financial loss and a great deal of frustration. After such a long delay, to be treated like this is simply disgraceful.
I would give zero stars if I could. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid.”
“The windows are alright but the guarantee isnt - we had plastic trims on our timber frames which fell off revealing large gaps around the frames completely open to the weather, when we asked for help we were told there would be further charges for the guarantee to cover us although it was under the 10 yrs.”

“I had two doors fitted on November 14th. 2024.Although the doors were fitted well,a drip mould became detached above one of doors recently.I phoned up and requested a call back,nobody called back.I then sent two e-mails and was told that I would receive confirmation,I did not .What a pity that your office staff are not as efficient as your window and door fitters,unless it concerns collecting payment.”
“On 19th March I had a new window installed, which in itself was done very well. I have been very happy with the results of the window itself.
The issue is that the scaffolding has been left up, and I have received no calls back after multiple attempts to chase up. Phone calls to customer service have taken half an hour plus to speak to someone. All that customer service can do is request a call back from the local office responsible, but I have not received a response back. I have emailed but received no response. I have now raised a complaint because it is unacceptable to have scaffolding left on the property weeks after the job, and even more unacceptable to not respond to the customer to arrange a removal.”
