They lied to us that they installed double glazed windows but you can hear a pin drop outside and once the job is done they are not reachable very disappointed

Windows were measured by Anglian windows arrived Feb12 2024 four hours into job all went quiet , Lounge windows not right size 6 inches to small , so said guess the rest of the windows wrong size !!! Yep so had to re manufacture !! Joke Been dealing with a manager re compensation , fobs me off and promised to call me back time after time ! No phone calls ffs a joke

Had a conservatory built but never finished off doing the steps leading out , I have now been waiting since last August for them to come back .All i have had is excuse after excuse I will never use them again or reccomend them

An absolute shower,poorly fitted,poorly finished,bodged from beginning to end,poor follow up after complaints, I highly recommend that no one,and I do mean no one uses these cowboys, if you want the energy efficiency of your home greatly reduced and shabby finish then go ahead,but if you require even a fairly good finish and your home left in an acceptable state then go ANYWHERE else.. This company is not to be confused with a glazing company as that they most definitely are not!

Very disappointed with the inconsistency of communication. Called regarding my door not locking (second time having to call them out). I was told I’d have to wait 3 weeks then to be told someone from my area would contact me. Never happened. Called again To be told I’d called the wrong number for my area yet it was the same number for my area as the one I’d called? I was also told that it had only just gone on the system (this is at 4pm when the original call was at 10:15) Advised I’d have to wait 3 weeks for the repair. When I explained my home was unlocked and not secure I got told “we don’t have emergency workers”. (Fair enough but 3 weeks is a long time). I then asked if I could get it fixed by another company and send them the bill. I was told no which I understand but how is a 3 week wait quality customer service? I called them back later that afternoon and was given a date for repair at a set time for Monday. Then I Received a text with a different time which had previously been agreed. Received a text on the day the repair was due to take place with another date for the repair to be done. When I finally got through to ask what was happening I was told that today’s appointment was cancelled. Isn’t it basic customer care to notify customers of these changes and not just send another text with a new date? Today 3 hours before the engineer is due they have cancelled again. Sent complaint 5 days ago to email given by staff and nothing! The email provided doesn’t work (Shock) Anyone thinking of going through this service please don’t. Look at the watchdog report online and read the reviews first. The company requires training and to do as their policies state. Shocking from start to finish!

What's happened to my windows , they all ended up with rocks being thrown through them , I won't recommend you again!!

Had an appointment. They didn't turn up or let me know they wasn't coming. But looks like I've had a close escape after reading the reviews.

This company is outrageous. We’ve purchased windows from them in May 2022. About 6 months in they’ve informed us that they cannot manufacture windows according to the contractual requirements without offering an alternative. When they came to install the wrong windows, they had had been manufactured to the wrong size (nov 2022). They installed the too small window since they realised their mistake when the existing windows had been taken out already, leaving us with gaps in the dead of winter. They came back to installed newly manufactured windows (but still not to the required specs as agreed in the contract) in early 2023. All windows were defective - some wouldn’t close properly, the hinges were wrong etc. Since then and between May 2023 and October 2024 they sent 3 engineers, who were unsuccessful in trying to repair the windows each time, causing more damage to the windows and property. Finally in February 2024 they provided the engineer with appropriate hinges and a full scope of work to finalise the work. A full 2 years after initially ordering the windows - the job was quoted for 20-24 weeks from order. They’ve also never fulfilled their initial contractual obligation of providing windows as agreed under the contract. After making best efforts to find a compromise for their non performance of the obligations under the contract, and compensation for the losses caused in those 2 years, they are now threatening to sue us for the entirety of the remaining balance. Unacceptable. Please do not use this company

Not happy at all with Anglian windows. They replaced my bedroom window I had vertical blinds which they obviously had to remove. The blinds are ruined and just thrown down. I have contacted the company that fitted the blinds and the cost is £300! Also, each night there is condensation on the windows and the bedroom was covered in dust. It is difficult to sleep in a room with no blinds I also don't know when the scaffolding will be removed. I need it removed as I cannot access my garage. I originally went with Safestyle UK, but Anglian took it over when they went into administration.

I do not usually leave reviews and especially not negative ones, but the way I was treated by this company was terrible and I felt I need to review it because when I tried to approach them personally about how I felt, they were least bothered. In my opinion it’s the Worst company, they are not serious about their business. They are extremely unprofessional. We wanted to get a consultation from them about making a porch and booked an appointment with them for 10am on a Saturday, they confirmed the appointment during the week on phone and via email. Come Saturday 10am, 10.15, 10.30 - forget someone coming out, they didn’t even call to inform us that no one will be coming. We rang them twice and they said someone is on their way, it was then 11.45 and no one was there. When we rang them, they had nothing to say except offer a rearrangement of the appointment. We said perhaps it’s a one off and picked the next Saturday at the same time. Here I am on that Saturday, it’s 10.40am and no one has bothered to come and when we rang them they said yes there is a booking on the system but no one is coming. When we asked them for an explanation of how we have been treated and we are disappointed with the past 2 weeks they said “all we can do is apologise and offer another appointment”. They had no explanation of why this has happened. I’m highly disappointed and do not recommend them to anyone.

I was waiting for them to arrive to give me a quote, they didn't turn up. I'm really glad now I've read all about how rubbish people say they are!

So disappointed with them, we had the doors and windows installed, the windows are ok, the doors are leaking we call them out and they always need parts but never come back, they say Covid caused delays. Still under warranty, going to trading standards because so bad. Don’t use them this is the worst service ever.

Please please please do not go with this company. Dishonest and after they give you your quote they will make something up to get more money off you. Plus getting your money back is really hard as they don’t reply to any of your emails and the 0800 number gets through to nobody. Go with a more local company if you can.

Initially, prior to installation the service appeared professional and competent, sadly it wasn't the case upon installation and the corrective work needed post installation! Day of installation - arrived, removed old patio windows and then subsequently realised they had left all the fittings behind in Peterborough ( I'm in Essex) and its Nov. The resorted to try an refit my old patio windows while they got someone to deliver the missing fittings from Peterborough. ...3hrs later missing parts arrive and the out come my patio doors again. Seems to be progressing but daylight hours and the fitters starting bemoaning their day and journey back home. They finish but upon their departure we realise the non sliding door wobbles and big draft from gap between frame and door. the trim around the door is bowing and the vent is like a boomerang leaving a big gap and draft. Contact Anglian Windows the next day and wait 3.5 weeks before a reply, offered an engineer visit to rectify TBC, wait 3 weeks engineer arrives, agrees faults, makes list and leaves. Wait 3 weeks ...ring customer services to chase and get another works appointment in a months time! ....same engineer turns up! I was told this and that needed to happen on the 1st visit to rectify the errors at installation. As it transpired the rectification involved a sealant gun and some sealant ....Nearly 3 months I wait for poor quality workmanship to be rectified and not even an apology Not recommended, customer service needs some training.

Anglian just fitted 19 windows for me, they are fabulous, the fitters were great and they completed the job in 3 days. This has transformed my home. It's the second time l have used Anglian and l would recommend to my friends. Look at what else is out there definitely best of the bunch.

We had Anglian windows installed 30 years ago, they are brilliant and still as good as new. Now, seeing the 1 star reviews I would not touch them with a barge pole. I also get, on average, about 10 junk emails from them a day. Why are they still in business.

Please stay away from this shambolic Company! The whole process was a total nightmare, and we just wish we had gone elsewhere! We required new front doors and were promised these would be fitted before Xmas, well that didn’t happen plus SO many issues along the way! How this company has any business is beyond me. Sadly no one was willing to take any accountability even after I raised a formal complaint, all they want is your money! Poor communication, poor processes, awful customer care, unfilled promises – stay away!
