I Rang Anglian windows as they happened to be the first that popped up. I wanted a 2ft x.5ft casement window a side window positioned in the dining room. I told the lady i was getting water coming into the house as the seals had perished, i was booked in for the following Thursday but on the Tuesday before i recieved a VERY Rude and horrible man telling me the price upfront would be at least £800, and made to feel i couldnt afford it and his telephone manner was Utterly disgusting the way he spoke to me. Anyway ive got fixed up nicely with Lancashire glazing £355 less than the ridiculous price he told me over the phone, he really couldnt be arsed coming out, that was it!! DON'T USE.

Condensation on one of my windows. Phoned three times and they don't follow it up. What can I do?

We had our Anglian windows fitted 7 years ago. Since then we have had to replace six handles that broke. One glazing panel that became misty. Had the engineer round twice to try and sort drafts. Anglia use the cheapest product for the highest price. The design of the windows is very poor. Bad thermal properties and poor sound insulation. The fitting was very poor and the frames and sills are covered in condensation due to non or little insulation when fitting. The rubber on the windows is not man enough to stop draughts and the windows are so thin they bend allowing in even more cold air. This is a terrible company with a terrible product. Don’t believe what they tell you. They only want your money and don’t care about a quality product or customer satisfaction. Please take my advise and avoid Anglia Windows.

If we could leave minus star rating they woukd get minus 10, Had the salesman out to our new build, told him everything we needed and required for building control, their surveyor come out after to measure up, never heard a thing until 16 days afterwards asking for the signed survey to be returned, which we had never received to which the customer service manager tried telling us we were lying, when the document was emailed over to us and we checked though it, everything had been changed to how the surveyor wanted them the rating of the windows had been changed the design the only thing that was what we had asked for was the front door, every window design had been changed, we emailed the customer service manager with our concerns and we never had a reply from her, we asked them to cancel the contract the salesman called and told us to sign the contract as it was what we had asked for, we said no, cancel it, we then had the area manager call us and said the same it was what we had asked for, then tried threatening us with court processing if we didn't sign the paperwork. We asked for our deposit back which he said he couldn't do as we had left it too late, even though it was their fault as the surveyor was supposed to have left the paperwork with us, this company is a ripe off too, went to another company and have got the windows for half the price these were going to charge us. I would never recommend Anglian to anyone unless you want to be ripped off and called liers

This isn't to do with an Anglian installation but a couple of months ago I was driving my car and was tailgated for about a mile by someone driving an Anglian van. The driver was literally in the boot of my car. On approaching a junction, the driver overtook me when there was a car waiting to turn out of the junction. There was a number on the back of the van to report how the van was being driven. I phoned Anglian and left all the details including the registration and fleet number of the van and I was told that someone would contact me within five working days. I phoned them again after two weeks as I had not heard anything. They apologised and again said that someone would contact me. Now over three weeks later I still haven't heard anything. I am so glad that I now know how badly this company treats people that I would never order anything from them. I feel so sorry for everyone who has spent a lot of time and money on home improvements with this company and be treated so badly.

Had my windows fitted no issues was very happy with work so arranged to have new guttering , my installation was cancelled twice finally fitted top guttering no issues, my porch guttering was another matter they informed me my whole porch was coming away from house and would need replacing I had 3 independent builders to inspect to be inform ed my porch was fine Anglia eventually returned after some dispute about my porch and removed asbestos put in bags left on my drive I had to ring 3 times to chase appropriate removal this took about 6 weeks. . They completed my guttering and asked for payment, on inspection there were several things wrong they had not finished downpipe off was left with gap at the top, glue everywhere coming out of brackets , they had reinstalled an old bracket and there was a deep scratch in the roofing of my porch I sent pictures requesting that once this had been amended I will make final payment.again I rang several times to get the work done in the meantime I was constantly being called to make a payment eventually message got through and work done but they had left a damaged mark on my new downpipe and wiring left in an untidy manner I emailed with photos 10th October and a return email advised that this would be amended that Thursday or Friday, didn’t happen again they were constantly ringing for payment, on 29th November I received a call from the Manager advising a letter had been sent adding 4%onto my total I explained I was waiting for work to be completed he was unaware I forwarded original email sent 10/10/23. The letter I received advised i was being charged an extra 4% for installation of garage doors I do not own a garage. Work eventually completed I made payment the original quote, a week later I receive a call from The Manager stating they hadn’t received payment I advised I had paid via card the previous week. I will let you decide if this company is worth the hassle look elsewhere .

Anglian came and gave us a quote to replace our windows. High pressure tactics from the salesman - lots of discounts that were only available 'today'. Lots of pressure to sign the contract immediately. We resisted his tactics and got quotes from a couple of other companies - they were less than half the price of Anglian. Anglian kept phoning up and offering bigger and bigger discounts to get the work. They ended up offering to match the cost of the company we decided to go with - so were willing to reduce the price to less than half of their previous 'heavily discounted' quote. After this experience I would never give Anglian any business on principle - clearly they were trying it on and out to rip us off for as much as they could get. Avoid.

Don't use this company. Had nothing but trouble with them. Door installed minus handles. Faulty from the get go - constantly complained got to the point we couldn't get in or out and had to use the back door. They eventually came out to adjust the hinges did nothing about the lock apart from dw40 but within a week we were locked out at 10pm in the evening and had ti call a locksmith which Anglian are refusing to reimburse

The salesman tried to bully me into accepting a quote on the spot. When I resisted, he hurled personal insults at me.

Shocking that these scam artists are still operating. They will damage your property beyond repair due to negligence, deny it despite the evidence, and then have the absolute audacity to send threatening letters about non-payment while the dispute is ongoing. Please do not use this company if you value your time, money and sanity.

Would not recommend. Soffits and fascias fitted but in the process damaged the mature wisteria on the front of our house. They don’t really care - very poor customer care or follow up. Lots of rubbish left behind too.

Awful draughts through windows and doors we had fitted. The whole experience has been a nightmare from ordering fitting and now 2 years on having to hang a blanket in front of door to stop the draughts!!!

They are impossible to contact and actually speak to someone. We are taking our business elsewhere.

If only we read reviews before having Anglian Home Improvements build our conservatory. Anglian stated there would be no problems with the job. All good until the problems started. We accepted “fixes” to get on with the job. We told them we didn’t like the sand/cement filler but wouldn’t change it and still won’t 11 months down the line even though it’s falling out but all they want to do is patch the bits that fall out. We have had confirmation from builders PVC scribed strips should have been used not ugly wide sand/cement filler. Our advice don’t use Anglian Home Improvements if you don’t want blood pressure problems.

I have recently had a patio door installed (12th October) The installer's workmanship was not good and the attitude of the Field Manager was very poor. On 13th October, 2023), I noticed the poor workmanship of the installer, Jacek Zielinski and emailed both Paul Mantell, Field Manager and Customer Services with my complaints. I attached photos of the door to both showing the poor workmanship. Customer Services replied very quickly (that same afternoon) and said a member of the regional branch would be in touch in a timely manner. Two weeks have passed and I've not heard from back. In good faith, I paid in full (on 13th October) I am very disappointed in Anglian Home Improvements

Anglian Window Company are atrocious, Windows measured price given deposit paid. survey informs me wrong measurements taken, he changes size and door openings. weeks later informed wrong quote given informed would have to pay more. date given for installation 27th Oct 2023, received call 25th Oct someone has cancelled could they come 26th Oct agreed not before 9am. men arrived 8am informed unable to come in until 9am (wife on Machine) they are rude and said they had a lot of work on, I said there is a Café at top of road come back at 9am. didn't come back rang office Amanda informs me, note is on their system not before 9am. she speaks to manager, ha ha this is the best bit, said manager said they are not having them come back will send another team tomorrow, ( what they meant was they are contractors and they have gone back to the yard to off load our doors and windows and gone to another job) they obviously have no control over their staff

I paid £3,350 deposit on a near £17,000 order for windows and sliding patio door on 5/8/23. The survey was done 30/8/23. I heard nothing about the installation date and repeatedly chased it to discover that they never sent the order for manufacturing, as it turned out they are unable to manufacture one of the windows. So it took them 3 months of wasting my time for them to come to this realisation. For a big company like Anglian, you would expect they can produce any sized window, well think again. After multiple emails begging for my deposit to be refunded and chasing it up for the last 3 weeks, still haven't been refunded. They are such a JOKE, wish I'd paid attention to the bad reviews and stayed away. Better to use a smaller local company in future. Anglian are scammers.

I asked these people to fix my roof under warranty on 18th Sept They knew it was leaking but did not turn up for a whole month. The leak was fixed but the cause of the leak was their fault as their engineer installed a glass unit almost 20mm out of line and eventually it leaked. They now tell me that my warranty has been invalidated because I have had the roof adapted ! To be clear..I have had a reflective film put on the inside glass of a conservatory to reduce heat build up and they are using that as an excuse to invalidate the warranty ! I can't say I'm too surprised, my experience with this lot has been absolutely appalling from the moment I paid them the deposit for the work and signed the contract. (They were absolutely fine before that!) Please please do not let these people anywhere near your home ! Date of experience: October 19, 2023

Window started leaking badly a few months after installation. Eventually, they sent a repair team. Windows started leaking again, worse, within a month. Still waiting for them to even come look at the problem again. Terrible product, terrible customer service, terrible company. They will fob you off so best to go straight to trading standards or the ombudsman. I just wish I could give them less than 1 star.
