On 2nd February 2024 I had a quote for 2 small windows which I agreed to and paid £282 deposit. 6 days later the surveyor arrived (after cancelling once) and found that when the Anglian had installed these window in 1996 they hadn't fitted Lintals so the brick work had moved slightly and it would cost me an extra £200 on top of the £1128. So a few days later I cancelled and asked for my refund. Instead I got a letter demanding a balance payment of £621. The reason being that in their contract there is a clause 9(c) stating that you had to cancel within 7 days or you are liable for 80% of the total contract price. Firstly yes this might be in the contract but when the salesman is pushing for a signature you don't stop and read the contract neither is it pointed out to you. Secondly the surveyor came after 6 days of my signing the contract which of course is a good delay tactic. So over 2 months later I am still waiting for my refund and numerous communications have had no response. If I don't hear very soon I shal be taking this further.

Not happy at all with Anglian windows. They replaced my bedroom window I had vertical blinds which they obviously had to remove. The blinds are ruined and just thrown down. I have contacted the company that fitted the blinds and the cost is £300! Also, each night there is condensation on the windows and the bedroom was covered in dust. It is difficult to sleep in a room with no blinds I also don't know when the scaffolding will be removed. I need it removed as I cannot access my garage. I originally went with Safestyle UK, but Anglian took it over when they went into administration.

I had 6 windows replaced. Really happy with the design and effectiveness of the windows. However we had issues with a couple of the units. This was down to the assembly and final finishing of the glazing. Once the engineers had gone, we noticed sticker and sucker marks appearing when bathroom windows steamed up or on a cold high moisture morning. We called the engineers back who cleaned the marks from the bathroom windows. But the window in my daughters bedroom continually had these issues. We had engineers return many times to either clean this window or replace the unit. Even when the unit was replaced, sticker marks were unreachable because they were on the inside of the glazing units. After the 3rd time of this same issue, Anglian decided to wash their hands of it and now I am left with a window that isn’t at the standard you expect. The majority of the time these marks are not visible and windows look great, but occasionally they appear on mornings and it’s frustrating to see after spending so much money on them. Anglian needs to be more careful when assembling these units in the factories and engineers need to clean them thoroughly before they leave them with the customers. I advise any customers to steam iron the mist onto the windows before the engineers leave, so you aren’t left with sticker and sucker marks all over the glazing. These marks can’t be cleaned with average window cleaner fluid and the engineers can use their special fluid for this and if marks are on the inside, they can order to replace the unit without any further delays!

Now that the weather is warmer, neighbours are out in their gardens with their kids and pets, enjoying the sunshine. My secondary glazing was installed in late February 2023, but it's only now that I have had an opportunity to test how well the secondary glazing dampens excess outside noise. Unfortunately, the product does not do what Anglian promised. I can clearly hear every word of normal conversations that my neighbours are having. The product is rubbish and based on all of the other poor reviews about products from Anglian, is anyone interested in joining a class action law suit against this company? That may be the only way to hold them to account.

Installation was cancelled twice - on the day of the appointment. First time because the fitter was ill and the second time because only one fitter turned up and, due to the size of the window, two were required. The third time only one of the fitters was an Anglian employee (warehouse manager) the other was a general builder/chippie, multi-skilled type. To get access to the outside of the window scaffolding was required. This is hired in and because of the delays in getting started that scaffolding was outside in the drive for 6 weeks. After installation, I noticed three black marks etched in the glass on the inner surface. The representative told me they would send out an engineer to buff theses out. I then made the mistake of paying, because in spite of contacting Anglian 3 times, they have not sent anyone out to fix the marks. Also the fitters damaged my windowsill. On the plus side at least the windows fit, look OK and the room is a noticeably warmer. Lesson learned though - don’t pay until you are 100% happy.

The follow up service under guarantee is dreadful, my window lock broke in January. I requested a service visit in March. They didn't have the same lock available and sent me 'the nearest replacement ' for me to fix myself. I phoned again and explained I couldn't do it. The call centre then booked me in for a visit, for which they would contact me by e mail. That was 17th March, it is now 15th August and they still have not contacted me. I have had to get someone else to fit the lock. They are all very nice when it comes to sales and what they promise, but the back up service leaves a lot to be desired. They don't really want to come out at all. I have spent thousands with this company and this is my reward for customer loyalty!

Kitchen Window cracked in April.Used online contact form for replacement. Asked to supply pics of Window, which I did. Spoke to Man at Anglian, who assured me that he knew which Window it was from the Drawings and would order a replacement. Fitter turned up,took out a Tape measure and was gone in 30secs max. It is now nearly 2 months later and the Window is not sorted out. The warranty department is crap and they will drag it out (in my opinion),because it is maintenance and not a sale. Since having the Windows and Doors fitted;we have had : Window lock replaced(which I had to do),Front Door Lock repaired & Back Door Lock repaired twice. Windows are fine but the quality of Locks is not as good. Disappointed with the responses and overall customer service.

Disappointing customer service. During the sale you are promised one thing and after paying for your order it appears there are no records of that and you have to pay for extra keys from your own pocket. Communication with the management doesn't solve the problems.

Same as some of below comments. Ordered 3 windows in March 21. Told 10 to 12 weeks. Supposed to be fitted today. Fitting cancelled yesterday for the 3rd time. Not even given any idea when will be fitted. Asked for deposit back but told non refundable and should read contract. Why is this company still selling windows and saying 10 to 12 weeks! Really angry

The window fitters for our windows and doors were really nice and friendly guys. Unfortunately the Manager from Glasgow who visited our home regarding repairs of faulty fitting, no seals on windows, front door not locking and sometimes not even closing, was dismissive, rude and unhelpful. Anglian did not take our calls or said someone would call us back then did not. They were not interested in us as soon as we paid them the £13,000 for the windows and doors. None of the people we spoke with on the phone helped us, listened to us or treated us respectfully or made us feel like we were customers who were valued. I wish we had stayed local. I would not recommend Anglian.

Well where do I begin 17th of March my windows and doors went in apart from my main front door . I was told a manufacturers problem , because it was the wrong size wrong colour,After a handful of excuses and emails I’ve now been told they’re still waiting for my front door . Six weeks ago they told me they were waiting on a frame for the door , Before that they told me the door and frame had to be returned to the manufacture we are now 12 1/2 weeks later. Sick and tired of all these lies and excuses on the 18th of March I was told it was ordered and it would be classed as critical It will be replaced within 4 to 5 weeks not so true .

Shopping around to replace a porch.Looked on website but felt virtual visit wouldn'the appropriate so left website without booking one. I then had 4 calls & 2 text over weekend. I replied advising away then working but available Tuesday. No call recieved until working again (As front line Nurse) on Wednesday. Then 6 calls 2 text and a WhatsApp message. I replied to text stating at work. But got another call during my break I said I felt someone needed to come out but video call booked.I Replied to last call as I left work kept having to repeat things including I had just finished work and sat in car yet he was surprised when I repeated this. Subsequently, my husband and I have ruled out using Anglian windows. the product and construction may be good is not the but the company sales approach. over steps enthusiasm and feels pushy and as if not being listened to as potential customers.

Rubbish customer service. Very intimidating on the phone. Ordered a front door 3 months ago, after chasing and complaining several times Installation finally booked. Lets hope the door is ok, i do not have any confidence in Anglian at all.

I do not recommend. Whilst I am happy with the product itself - a new front door - and the employee who came to install was efficient and highly capable, the customer service of this company was atrocious. I ordered the door in mud September and I went with AHI as a local company had told me it would not be done until January and I needed the work done far more quickly as by this stage my door had deteriorated to the pint where I could no longer lock it. Their representative said the normal wait time is 8 weeks but that it may take a little longer due to the pandemic. However he said it should be done by the end of November or shortly after. The greater speed than the local company did seem to me to largely offset their premium prices so I went with it. In fact it was not installed until 16 Feb. I went a long period with no communication giving an indication of when installation would be likely to take place and in fact I only became aware that there would be a substantial delay when I contacted them. It seems to me many companies are using the current situation to absolve themselves of inefficient, incompetence and laziness. I would not use them again and would not recommend others to do so.
