The good things are that the item looks as pictured and that the delivery was within the timeframe given and on the day it was within the timeslot given by the courier. The bad bits: 1) the aosom page says it is great for the garden - presumably anywhere including in the open. However the brochure with it says "Mount .. in the shelter of the weather". Puzzled by this I looked at the French page which says that it should be installed under an awning. 2) Both on the main page of aosom.co.uk and under the expandable "Features" line it states "Is assembly required? No". NOT TRUE. It comes in 4 pieces with 2 packets of nuts and bolts. The booklet says it will take 30 minutes for 2 people. I am hoping I can do this on my own but I have not yet tried. 3) Most annoying of all while going through the purchase I had a pop-up offering 10% off my first order If I agreed to receive emails advertising other of their products. No specific restrictions were shown. I went through that process and was given a code for the 10%. However when I put that code in I was told that the purchase did not reach the minimum value - the first time I was made aware that there was a minimum value. I was willing to purchase at the price without that discount but Outsunny has lost all my respect as a result.
