Cheap, weak plastic shower head and filter housing.
Filter housing screwed together so tightly that I injured my wrist trying to remove filter. 32 year old neighbor had difficulty also. Why are you trying to hurt us seasoned citizens?
Just put 13mm flats on the male and female ends of the filter housing and shower head. It's not rocket science.
