We have stayed at the Shepherds Hotel at Cockermouth on a number of occasions and have always found the staff
to be very helpful and friendly. The rooms we have stayed in are always very clean, light and airy and the bed extremely
comfortable. The breakfast is delicious!
My one concern is that on our last visit, the hotel seems to have been sold, and therefore we have lost our weekend
retreat! We will have to go a long way to find another hotel that meets our requirements.
