I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience. I've always been a loyal customer of George, especially loving their home products. This time, I placed an order worth around £50 and was really looking forward to receiving it. However, the delivery took far longer than expected, and when I finally called after the promised date, I was informed that my order was lost.
Instead of offering a replacement, which is what I wanted, I was only promised a full refund. To add to my frustration, they only refunded the £3.95 delivery charge immediately, but not the rest of my order, even though they admitted the courier lost it. It’s now been 10 working days, far beyond the 3-5 days they promised, and I still haven’t received the rest of my refund.
Customer service was a nightmare to deal with – long wait times and difficult communication. Judging by other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one facing these issues. It’s frustrating to see such false advertising about refunds when they could process the delivery refund on the spot. Why can't the rest of the refund be handled with the same efficiency?
