The grill comes unassembled but, well packed. Lots of foam and cushion to survive the trip to your location. Assembly is pretty straightforward. There are no instructions but, there are links to Titan's website. Less waste of paper is always good for me.
The only thing you will need to supply is the tools. A ratchet or wrench to tighten the bolts and a pair of pliers to hold the nut as you tighten.
The only thing I supplied was four lock washers for the base assembly. I didn't want those nuts to come loose over time. The only problem incurred after assembly was that the grate would catch on one side near the base causing the cable to come out of the holding hook. To remedy this problem. Loosen the nuts on that side. You will see that the leg is too far towards the inside and needs to be pushed out towards the edge. After loosening a bit I used a rubber mallet to gently tap the leg over to the edge of the base. Tightened the bolts again, and the problem was resolved.
All metal contact surfaces will squeak as the wheel is turned. A liberal application of WD40 solved the issue.
All in all, I find this attachment for the price to be a decent addition to my 22" kettle. I can use the attachment as designed. The wheel and stop bar works great together. You have a greater degree of change in raising and lowering and can dial in the heat location with ease.
I am happy with this purchase. Keeping the attachment covered or out of the elements will allow this grilling accessory to last for years to come.
