We were so pleased with our last lounge chair that we bought another one. The fit and finish of the pieces are excellent and assembly was not difficult, it took about 45 minutes altogether. The dowels do not go all the way in on the footstool so they needed to be sawn flush. This requires care to make sure not to scratch the footstool legs; we used a small Japanese flush cut finish saw, which is not an expensive tool.
