Ashland makes incredible stuff. Since stumbling across Phil’s post about the differences between chromexcel and shell cordovan, I’ve picked up 5 fat herbies. The attention to detail in makeup, the quality of the leathers, and the durability of these wallets can’t be beat. I carry a fat herbie to work at a shipyard every day and the abuse they take there only adds to the character of the leather. When my brother saw them, he liked them so much that he picked up both a tony the ant and a capone clip. Can’t say enough good things about the folks over at Ashland.
