I purchased a shell cordovan wallet about one year ago and it looks as if it hasn't been used. I normally have a 2-3 year turn-over of wallets (Cartier and Peneider). I just purchased one for my wife and expect to do so for my daughter. If you have the disposable income, I would encourage you to buy an Ashland wallet. Beautiful and virtually indestructible.
