The all-reverse black shell cordovan Tall Tony is outstanding. The choice of thickness for the various parts of the wallet are perfect. This Tony has a thinner piece on the outside of the bill slot, making the wallet much more slender than it otherwise might be. (In contrast, my amaretto shell Fat Herbie has a much thicker piece on the outside of the bill slot, making for a thicker/stiffer wallet that can't hold many bills and "creaks" when opening and closing.) I also purchased a reverse black shell Key Vault. The leather is great---matching the Tall Tony---but the snap is glitchy and often difficult to open/close. The Horween shell cordovan looks/smells/feels great. I have other wallets made from Shinki Hikaku shell and Rocado shell. Both are equally smooth and glossy, but they don't have that fabulous Horween "veg" fragrance.
