Ashland leather is a small family run company with a big heart. To my great surprise I received a personalized video thank you from the owner, Phil Kalas, following a few small purchases. The products are crafted with attention to detail and love for the production and crafting of leather. The result is a production of wallets, belts and accessories that are works of art. I recently purchased an English Tan Dublin belt that is cut from a thick single layer of Horween leather, yet it is soft, pliable, strong and has a rich leather fragrance. When I unboxed it I thought this was such a classic that it would be the last belt I’d ever need. Wrong… I’m so taken by how this belt wears and looks, I’m “needing” another one in brown Horween Chromexcel Leather !
