Several years ago I bought my first Fat Herbie in shell cordovan which I loved but at that time wasn’t sure if it was the size for me. For awhile I tried all sorts of minimalist wallets thinking that was the way to go but never really bonded with any particular one. The quality of this is just as great as my Fat Herbie, it feels so soft and smells fantastic! I’ve come to realize that I feel most comfortable with a back pocket wallet and the Fat Herbie fits that perfectly. I ended up buying another Fat Herbie, this time a shell cordovan in natural leather color. It’s larger than a standard billfold but the special layout of the credit cards makes it sit much flatter in the pocket. Since it fills most of the back pocket, you are sitting on what feels like a nice flat leather cushion instead of a thick brick. Even if you are a minimalist, Ashland leather has a wallet for you. Any style you pick you are greeted with the best smelling, softest leather and highest quality wallet you can own! I
