I think the AquaLiv system has been good for my health. I didn't get a new filter for several years after my husband died because I didn't have the information. I'm glad I found the information and now understand why to get a new filter yearly -- I may have been drinking bacteria during the three years I didn't get a new one. I'm now ready to get my newest yearly filter.
