I purchase expensive alkaline with a ph of 9 or higher sometimes when I'm traveling. When I compare the taste to AquaLiv water AquaLiv wins hands down. I have tested the AquaLiv System after replacing filters and three months after an it maintains a ph of 8.9. I have had my system for four years now an it works as advertised.
