I bought a book several months ago, for $7.95, and apparently clicked a button that signed me up to pay a monthly fee of the exact same amount – $7.95. I just realized that I was still paying this, several months, later. I wanted to actually the use the service and buy book but it wasn't available in their library. So why am I paying a monthly subscription again if I can't even buy books?
The thing that drove me to write. negative review was the exchange with their customer service rep, Quinn. Incredibly arrogant, patronizing, and kinda aggressive. Accused me of "definitely intentionally" paying for the book. Then in a later email, wrote that my claim was "not true at all and what you're bragging about doing is credit card fraud. The appropriate documentation will be filed with your bank including all emails." (I contested the charges with my bank. Quinn said he will reimburse me for about 50% of the months I was charged for.)
This is a scam, ya'll.
