I have been driving for over 35 years and have never had a crack on the windscreen, until August this year. I phoned my insurance company who told me it would cost £75. I checked local dealerships and they said it would cost me £400!
The autoglass man arrived at 10.15 am as arranged and was finished by 12.30pm. He was polite and efficient a credit to his company.
