They say lightning never strikes twice. But last Spring I bought what I was told was the first Mark 3 Mini in Hampshire. Only a few days later, enjoying a drive towards Winchester, the vehicle in front of me threw up a stone which hit my windscreen like a pistol shot and with serious resulting damage and spreading cracks. So new was my Mini that Autowindscreens had to trace a replacement to BMW in Germany. It arrived but without trim. Paul at Poole took great trouble to track some down and kept me informed regularly. Although the resulting delay was frustrating, all was eventually well and the new screen beautifully fitted in my drive at home. Ten days later and the same thing happened again. Unsurprisingly perhaps, both Paul and the fitter, Jason ?, remembered me and ordering another screen and parts much quicker. This time Jason arrived on a Saturday afternoon bringing with him a young lady. They shared the work and, on my enquiring how she came to be helping Jason proudly introduced her as,not just Autowindsreen's but, England's only qualified female windscreen fitter! Now I call that impressive.
