Haven't used these current bulbs yet as the first pair I got are still working! I work night shift so they get used every work day. Cheaper bulbs may be more economic to buy, but the increased brightness and superior quality over budget bulbs make these bulbs a must. The beam has a much more defined cut off edge to it: the sign of a quality product. I wouldn't even consider buying cheap bulbs again except in an emergency, and then I would replace it with this quality bulb.
