I purchased an Optoma projector in July 2020 which unfortunately had a fault which has become worse. Given that the unit is approx four months old, this is not ideal. I contacted AV Partsmaster because as retailer, it's their responsibility to arrange repair or replacement but they instead directed me to Optoma to sort the issue under warranty. Unfortunately, the warranty is return to base so Optoma want me to incur costs to ship this expensive unit back to them to be fixed. I have tried to resolve the issue with AV Partsmaster, but they have told me that they cannot help, so I am left with a projector costing approx £700 with a buzzing noise ruining my enjoyment and they are washing their hands of it. Disappointing service. I am now taking the matter up with my card issuer. All hassle I don't need and shouldn't have to go through.
