I placed an order through their app for click and collect as it stated it would be ready within two days. I knew there was the potential for the promised date to lapse with the current situation therefore was not too disappointed when I didn’t receive the confirmation my order was ready to collect a week later.
However, upon reaching the store today there was a queue which I was told would take an hour to get through... not great but I waited anyway. I got 8 cars away from the end of the queue to collect my order and was told they were closing and I wouldn’t be able to collect my order! How I wasn’t told this at the moment I arrived is beyond me. I’ve tried to ring to cancel... not able to. I’ve sent an email to customer services to cancel yet still to receive a reply!
B&Q have taken £180 of my money and I still can’t get it back! I will not be using them ever again, shambolic customer service which should be exemplary to reflect their inflated prices. I just wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. HOW ARE THEY GETTING AWAY WITH THIS? I’m guessing they will appear on BBC’s watchdog #roguetraders
