The booking process was good - they were able to arrange a different flight from the usual schedule which made a big difference to us. Communication was good, although some emails went to spam so I didn’t always realise that - so always worth checking. All the hotels were nice and the transfers worked perfectly. We chose not to hire a car and use transfers instead so they took us all over the place. I know it’s unusual not to have a car at Plitvice Lakes but it was doable. The bus service spoken about in the official Plitvice Lakes websites does not support local services but we did use a taxi in one occasion. Our hotel was a little bit of a trek from the park in foot so if you decide to choose not to have a car request a hotel closer if possible. Overall we very much enjoyed the trip and valued the services and information provided by Balkan Escape. Thanks Jack for supporting us.
