We took our kids (12 and 14) on a Bamba trip through Guatemala, and it ended up being one of our favorite family holidays. The guides were really good at engaging both us and the kids—telling fun facts, asking them questions, and being super patient. The boat ride on Lake Atitlán and our visit to the indigenous villages were highlights. It wasn’t your typical tourist trip. It felt immersive. Even the transport days were well-planned with breaks at interesting places. Bamba really helped us make the most of our time without feeling rushed.
