Hi The kit arrived in good time and it works, C27 on the circuit says 3pF, but no 3pF supplied with the kit, on the silk screen there is no value! However, I had two 22pF caps, one was left over so fitted that to C27's position. and it tuned up. The frequency is not correct, this is due to the fact the reference crystal has no trimmer, also I suspect the oscillator inside to be for a parallel resonant crystal and the one supplied is series resonant crystal. I will investigate further. I see C27 as a select on test value, as you want the loop tracking voltage (TP1) to be in the middle of the range. We could do with some set up instructions. A lot of theses type of kits have no instructions, with all the work than has gone into the design and distribution, why would you not want to send some set up instructions? Most odd
