On July 3rd 2021 I bought an e-bike (Ado A20) on Banggood. First of all, it took 12 days for the bike to arrive from a European Warehouse… turns out it was out of stock and I had to wait. There were no apologies or shipping updates from Banggood. Bad service!
The bike finally arrived on July 15th and when I was assembling it, I saw that the seat was ripped, even though the box was ok. I immediately sent a message to Banggood reporting this. Banggood never provided a solution; instead, they requested photos and kept stalling…
After that, I tried to ride the bike and the throttle was not working, even when I pedaled… So, the seat was not the only problem. This bike was definitely faulty. Once again, I sent a message to Banggood. Their answer was not good at all: they told me to contact the supplier… So Banggood sells products but if they are faulty, you have to solve the problems on your own… Terrible!
I then opened a new return and replace ticket online and sent everything (video) as requested. Once again, Banggood kept stalling and never provided a return shipping label, or address… Since I bought this bike to take with me in my summer holidays and Banggood provided a faulty bike and bad customer service, I will be forced to request a full refund and return the bike. I already contacted PayPal in order to help me.
So, I gave a second chance to Banggood, but once again they let me down. I guess this is goodbye for me! I was a good regular customer, I deserved to be treated with respect.
Please be careful and avoid this store! There are plenty of other options online! Search for the one with good customer and after-sales service!
UPDATE (28/07): Banggood still doesn't follow its own rules and policies.
UPDATE (01/09): Banggood asked me to return the faulty ebike, but 3 weeks have passed and I still have no money and no bike! AVOID!!!
